So last weekend Andy and I decided to take a day trip out to the Cotswolds. We only live an hour or so away and I’d never been to the Cotswolds and I’ve only ever heard good things about it! So beforehand on the Friday I did a bit of research (pinteresting) to find some of the best spots to visit. We decided on a little route to Burford as our first stop to Bourton-on-The-Water and then to Stowe-on-The-Wold.
We had the most lovely day, when we got to Burford we wandered around the town admiring the history and the medieval architecture. We had brunch at Huffkins which involved a lot of tea, sausage rolls, quiche, salad and cheese scones!!
After lunch we headed on our way, did plenty of talking, picture taking and I had the best day exploring with my bestfriend.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend! Let me know what you get up too and if anyone has any suggestions of historic towns for me to visit then please let me know.
Hello my lovelies, so today I thought I would talk you through my current everyday skincare routine! As you will see I don’t tend to go for the high end/luxury skincare products. As a 22 year old I personally don’t feel that it’s necessary to spend hundreds on skincare although I am a huge believer that looking after your skin in your younger years will majorly benefit you as you age.
I have tested/tried various products over the last 7 years or so and I can honestly say that my current routine has been my best yet, I have used these products for the last 3 months and I’ve seen a huge difference in my skin.
Just a bit of an insight to my skin, I usually have extremely dry and sensitive skin however I have noticed recently that I’m getting oily in my T-zone as the day goes on. So my skin type isn’t particularly straight forward. I am extremely lucky as I don’t tend to break out or get bad spots, I find I’ll only get the odd occasional spot if I’ve either been drinking alcohol or the week before ‘that time of the month’.
Now I’m no beauty expert so I’m not saying that the routine I follow is by the book but this is what works best for me!
At the end of each day when I get in from work I will head straight to my beauty box in the bathroom to get my makeup off. I begin by grabbing the Garnier Micellar Gentle Cleansing Wipes to focus on removing my mascara and eyeliner. I will then grab a couple of cotton wool pads and my favourites are these Oval Double Faced pads from Tesco and my Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water to remove the rest of the makeup.
Then to wash my face I use the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Gel Wash, I love this as it leaves my skin squeaky clean. Now I only use a face scrub every other day as my skin is already quite sensitive and sometimes this can dry it out even more. But when I have any blemishes or need to cleanse my pores I will always use the Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Scrub (I love the smell of this too).
Once I have rinsed off this product and patted my skin dry I will then apply the No.7 Soft & Soothed Toner which I have used religiously for years now and I love how soft and smooth it leaves my skin feeling. To moisturise my skin I then use the No.7 Beautiful Skin Moisturiser for Dry Skin , this is another product that I started using a few years ago and haven’t looked back since, I love the smell and texture and the way my skin feels when I wake up in the morning.
I hope you all enjoyed this post and I’d love to know what skincare products you swear by too!!!

So where do I begin? I guess with wishing you all A Happy New Year. A lot of change (all positive) happened for me in 2017; I learnt how strong I am and began to love the person I’ve become, I decided I wanted to change the parts of my life I wasn’t completely happy with and that’s exactly what I did. In September time I made the decision to start looking for a new job and career path, by October I had been offered the perfect opportunity for me to progress further in my career and work life. So I moved out of my family home and moved two and a half hours away to live with my boyfriend in Aylesbury. I spent December settling in to my new job, adjusting to life living with my boyfriend and missing my family! I spent a lovely Christmas with my family and my boyfriends family down South.
As the New Year has dawned on me and I’ve got over the Winter flu, my busy life has settled back down and I’ve got a lot more space and time to myself. As I’ve moved to a new area I’m making new friends but obviously I do miss all of my friends and family but I’ve really felt like something is missing. I’m a really independent person and I love to spend time on my own and I’ve been trying to think of getting a new hobby to keep me busy but unfortunately I don’t think Prosecco is a healthy hobby…
I actually started blogging in 2014 with my blog Magic Stars & Sequins and then progressed to What Chloe Does. I tried to keep this blog going whilst juggling a full time job, courses I was doing on the side and obviously being a 20 year old! Unfortunately it got to the point in 2016 where I was running out of time and just couldn’t keep the blog material frequent enough so I decided to give up my blog.
In conclusion, after a lot of thought I have decided to start my blog over again as a fresh start for the New Year and put everything I can in to writing good content, improving my blogging skills and material, uploading consistently and just have fun. My only goal with my blog is to fall in love with blogging again, enjoy writing and be proud of what I can produce. I also hope to make some more online friends along the way!
